This trip started out as a discussion of how best to celebrate the life of Alexandria Tucker, a trans woman who was born in St John's, Newfoundland, and died in Victoria, British Columbia. It grew into a project which aimed to bring trans awareness, and suicide prevention information and support, throughout Canada. We agreed that the best way to do this was via a bike tour across Canada.

Alexandria Tucker was a trans woman and activist who went to school and later worked at the University of Victoria in Victoria, BC. She was a strong advocate for fellow trans people and is always described as "the life of the party". She spent two years in a Montana men's correctional facility and we believe that this is what caused her to finally take her life. She had hoped to become a lawyer to fight for other oppressed peoples. The trip was out way of continuing her work and sharing her memory.

Keenan is a long time social activist and current student at Camosun College on Vancouver Island. Having recently moved back to Vancouver Island, he is very much enjoying himself.

Hugs was our driver during the trip. She enjoys traveling, social activism, and will be an active part of the organization in the future.

Noah is also a social activist and a student. He is currently completing a social work degree at The University of Victoria. He is considering pursuing either graduate school or Law School. He works a lot!

This is Jordi and Tenner. Unfortunately Tenner passed away last December, before he got a chance to make the trip with us. He loved to chase squirrels and play, and he will be missed.

Jordi is the one sitting on the couch and is Noah's. He is a handful but also very loving and full of cuddles.
